I have been attending the MMNL Youth League for about 4 years now with my sister. It gave us an amazing opportunity to learn from older and more experienced players and helped us to progress to become the experienced players that the young beginners look up to now. Having attended for many years we have developed a great relationship with Tess, Rachael, Alison and all the other coaches and umpires who have addressed our individual needs and improved every aspect of our game. They’re also so friendly and welcoming! Both my sister and I have now progressed into the adult league thanks to the Youth League which has really improved us as netball players but there are also opportunities to go into umpiring and qualify to umpire high level matches. Overall, Sunday morning netball has given us all the skills to improve our netball and has been so enjoyable ever since my first session.

I would like to give a massive shout out to all the ladies that ran the Summer Youth Camp 2017! It’s the first year that my daughter Abby has been able to take part and she thoroughly enjoyed every minute. She came home with so much enthusiasm telling me how they did drills which they then put into game play in the afternoon. Abby came away with the skills and confidence to join a team in the senior league and will be coming to Sunday’s training when possible – thanks so much again Tess, Rachael, Phil, Ali and Lucy!

I attended the MMNL Summer Camp, which I enjoyed a lot! There was good balance between training and games, which were constructive and helped out with technique.  I went for two days and during that time I had a lot of fun with friends.  I now play in the adult league in Division 4.  Summer Camp really helped with technique for that.

I love going to Sunday morning netball – the coaches are really friendly and have helped me improve my skills through drills and matches; and over the years I have made lots of new friends! I now play in the MMNL adult league too!
